Plays with the screen locked.
Your partner is busy. Your audition is tomorrow. Record the scene once and run it as many times as you need.
How to learn your lines with LineMemo
Read the scene once into your phone. The script stays on paper; LineMemo keeps the sound and knows which lines are yours.
Start from the script you already have.
- 1
Mark your lines
Highlight your part on the page, the way you already do.
- 2
Record the whole scene
Tap THEM or ME as the speaker changes. Each line on the page becomes a line in the app.
- 3
Put the page down
Listen to the scene in your voice until you don’t need the script.
Everything you need to learn your lines
Read the scene once and tap THEM or ME as the speaker changes. That’s the whole setup.
With the screen off, on headphones, on the way to the audition. Run the scene as often as you need.
Silence where your lines are, so you say them. Make each pause 1×, 1.5× or 2× as long as your line.
Split a line in two, or re-record just that line.
Play at 0.75×, 1× or 1.25×, and jump to the previous or next line.
No account. Scenes stay on your phone and work offline.

Questions about LineMemo
Does it work offline?
Yes. Recording and listening work without a connection, and nothing is uploaded.
Which phones does it run on?
iPhone and Android. LineMemo is coming soon to both.
Can I use any script?
Yes. LineMemo never sees the text: you read from your own script, on paper or on screen, and it keeps only the sound.
Where do my recordings go?
They stay on your phone. Nothing is uploaded.
Can I listen with the screen off?
Yes. The scene keeps playing with the screen locked, and you can pause or skip lines from your headphones.
How is it different from Voice Memos?
Voice Memos records one long file. LineMemo knows which lines are yours, so it can jump line by line, repeat the scene, or leave silence where your lines are when you want to test yourself.
